The March sisters are back at Heritage Square Museum from tomorrow night through Sunday and you don’t sit and watch this one. Little Women Ballet moves you from house to house across the museum’s Victorian homes, a costumed character leading each small group, with the dancers performing a few feet away in the actual parlors. It runs about two hours including the walking and by the end the cast pulls the audience into a Victorian dance.
The company started in 2023, founded by Emma Andres and this autumn walk-through is where it began. So this run is being billed as a homecoming, the original show brought back for people who missed it the first time.
Showtimes For October 2, 3 And 4
- Friday, October 2, 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, October 3, 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, October 4, 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
That’s it, five performances and the groups are kept small because of the house tour format, so a session can fill up fast.
How The Walking Tour Works

Heritage Square is an open-air museum with eight rescued Victorian-era buildings, sitting in Montecito Heights beside the Arroyo Seco Parkway. The story is spread across those houses. Your guide takes you in, a scene from the March sisters’ story plays out in ballet right in front of you, then you move on to the next house and the next scene. Autumn drinks and sweet treats come out along the way and the goodie bag you get at the start holds things you’ll use during the performance, so hang on to it.
I’ve never read the book, am I going to be lost? No. The company says you don’t need to know the novel to follow it and it’s family-friendly, pitched at school-age kids and up as much as adults.
Ticket Price And What Is Included
Coverage puts the price between $65 and $68 a person depending on where you look and that covers the house tour, the drinks and treats and the goodie bag. Advance tickets are required, there’s no walk-up and you book through the Little Women Ballet Ticketing Page, where each of the five sessions is listed separately.
Address, Parking And The Walking Involved
The museum’s address is 3800 Homer Street, Los Angeles, CA 90031, just off the 110. You’re on your feet and moving between houses for most of the two hours and the official page carries a walking and seating access note for anyone who needs to plan around that. Flats, not heels, whatever the Victorians would have thought.
If you want the ballet without the bus ride to a downtown theater, this is the better version of it anyway. The houses do half the work.
