Nothing about the new collection has been released yet, no theme, no lookbook, so what follows is the confirmed details plus a look at what the brand’s earlier shows at this venue were like.

About the Designer
Amna Inam founded Randhawa Brands after building an audience as a live presenter online. The hosting came first, the following grew through the pandemic years, then the ambassador work, the community activism, eventually the label. The brand describes the clothes as South Asian heritage meeting contemporary womenswear.
In February 2023 she walked in her own show at Gotham Hall. Getty has photos of it. Not many designers walk their own runway. The label moved to Runway 7 at Sony Hall after that, has shown there across several seasons, plus announced an international tour for 2026.

What the Past Shows Looked Like
Big florals on the screens, pansies and orchids and roses blown up huge behind the models. Flower crowns on a lot of the walkers. The gowns run heavy on embellishment: crushed velvet, layers of tulle, bodices covered in crystal and pearl work you can see from the back of the room.
Some looks from past seasons went so hard on the embellishment they edged into pageant styling. Others held up better, usually the ones with strong construction under the sparkle. A green tulle ballgown with a jeweled top and a white flower crown is my favorite of the older set. There was also an orange crystal mini worn with a silver sequin cape and a full flower crown, which tells you the range runs from formal to loud.

The Menswear
Worth a separate note. Past seasons included an embellished shawl-collar tuxedo with a ribbon brooch, a sequined jacket cut like a bandhgala over draped trousers, a black and gold brocade coat with military braiding. The South Asian tailoring in these pieces is the real thing, not surface decoration. No word on whether menswear appears in the September show.

Tickets
Buy through Runway 7. Saturday evening sessions tend to sell before the weekday ones. Sales are final, so check the date before paying. The room at Sony Hall is small enough that you can actually see the beadwork, which matters for a brand that builds clothes at this level of detail. If you want the seats over the recap photos, book early in the week rather than day-of.
